Monica, we remember you. You were a very special person - a vibrant and active woman- a truly dedicated Quotarian and friend to many. Your life was one that demonstrated love and genuine caring for others. As a member of our club for 35 years, we enjoyed and appreciated your nurturing spirit, enthusiasm, intelligence and thoughtfulness. You were our "go-to" person, the one we could always count on for answers and steady, practical guidance. And the one we could look to for that extra element of fun. Thank you for all that you shared with us of your time, talents, and treasure. We will miss you in your chair at the table of Quota.
We remember how you modeled leadership as an active member of our club since 1985. You held numerous offices. Proudly, you were named Volunteer of the Year in 1996 and 2007 and served on various committees throughout the years. As a founding member of "Quota Girls Gone Wild" weekends, you celebrated joyfully with many friends of your extended Quota family each year. You'll be missed in your chair at the table of Quota.
We'll never forget what a wonderful "presence" you held in the room at our Quota gatherings. You were an outgoing and "classy lady" who carried an awfully BIG purse.... always prepared with a deposit bag, extra change, legal pads, at least a dozen pens, and several pairs of colorful eyeglasses in supply. We are grateful to you for taking care of us in the business sense. For keeping us accountable in all aspects of fulfilling our mission. We will miss you in your chair at the table of Quota.
We are also grateful for your knowledge of the history of the club. As you shared your knowledge, it so often helped us reach a common understanding. You led us to make clearer and more confident decisions moving us forward and getting things done. We loved your exuberant storytelling and sense of humor. How you kept us laughing with your quick with and wisdom. And your dramatic side .....let's just say, there are few that had your ability to burst out in song if a particular word or phrase in the conversation caught your tune-worthy attention. You had a true knack for lightening the moment. You'll be missed in your chair at the table of Quota.
Most of all, Monica, we'll remember your honesty, loyalty, kindness, and generosity. You were blessed with the love of family and friends and were a loving individual in return. You lived simply and frugally for yourself but were so generous in your giving to others. You truly embodied the heart and spirit of Quota. We are eternally grateful for showing us your "unselfishness, for bringing joy through true friendship, for opening our minds to a better understanding of service, and teaching us how to really "share" throughout your life. Amen. We will miss you in your chair at the table of Quota.
